The Varsity Opponent basketball team scored 48 points and held the host The Master's Academy Lions to 26 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The now sport a 12-49 record. They put it on the line next when they host King's Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 8. Varsity Opponent will meet a Knights team coming off a 62-48 non-league win over Trinity Christian Academy (Paris, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC). The Warriors enter the Western Piedmont contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Veritas Christian Academy triumphed over Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC), 85-9, in a league contest.
