The Centennial Spartans basketball team (Burleson, TX), was overwhelmed 63-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleburne for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 10. Lake Ridge will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 57-32 non-league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against White (Dallas, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, White trounced North Garland (Garland, TX), 45-24, in a non-league battle.
