With the victory, Cooper improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Northwest (Justin, TX) to confront the Texans in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 11. The Texans come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Northwest lost 45-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Sanger (Sanger, TX)

Next up, the Badgers confront the Brook Hill Guard (Bullard, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Merkel will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
