Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lehman Lobos (Kyle, TX), 55-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marion upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pearsall (Pearsall, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 12. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Pearsall lost 38-32 in their recent non-league bout against Hondo (Hondo, TX)

Next up, the Lobos play the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 11. Lehman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 46-35 non-league win over Davenport (San Antonio, TX).
