West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 54-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Union upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles host New Albany (New Albany, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hawks play the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 10. Myrtle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 60-13 non-league win over Houlka (Houlka, MS).
