The Americas Trail Blazers basketball team scored 21 points and held the visiting Chapin Huskies to 20 in the Trail Blazers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trail Blazers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canutillo for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 10. Americas will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-21 non-league win over Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, El Dorado nudged Clint (Clint, TX), 45-35, in a non-league contest.
