The Griffins now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Falls Lake for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 9. Oxford Prep will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 42-34 non-league win over Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-0.

The Jaguars (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Uwharrie Charter trounced Bethany (Summerfield, NC), 43-31, in a non-league battle.
