In Friday's non-league test, the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX), by a score of 55-34.

Next, the Hurricanes encounter the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, November 12. Fort Bend Hightower will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Buffalos come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 64-51 non-league win over Dickinson (Dickinson, TX).
