The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) and the visiting Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), witnessed Johnson Central's football squad wallop Grant County by a tally of 49-7.
The Golden Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Covington Catholic crushed Boyd County (Ashland, KY), 42-14, in a non-league contest.
