In Friday's league match, the visiting Hillcrest Panthers football squad scored a close 38-35 victory over the Wilson Wildcats.

The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Kaufman was nudged by Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX), 38-20, in a league match.
