Maryland High School Football - Potomac triumphant over La Plata

November 8, 2024: Oxon Hill, MD 20745

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) and the visiting La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), observed Potomac's football squad trounce La Plata by a margin of 70-0.

The Wolverines now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league outing on Friday, November 15. Potomac will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, La Plata drops to 2-8 on the campaign.
