The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS) and the visiting Lee Academy Colts (Clarksdale, MS), witnessed Wayne Academy's football squad edge Lee Academy by a tally of 27-20.

The Jaguars (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Bowling Green got by St. Aloysius (Vicksburg, MS), 34-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts confront the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams (Woodville, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 15. Lee Academy will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 8-4 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Calhoun Academy (Calhoun City, MS).
