Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Cypress Ridge Rams (Houston, TX), 50-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Alvin upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Kingwood (Kingwood, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, November 8. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-1. Kingwood won 53-39 in their recent non-league match against Clear Springs (League City, TX)

The Rams now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Creek for a non-league match on Saturday, November 9. Cypress Ridge will face a Panthers squad coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
