The Poteet Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Greenville Lions to 23 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, Greenville falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Community (Nevada, TX) to confront the Braves in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. The Braves go into the game with a record of 1-1. Community won 44-35 in their recent non-league game against Bonham (Bonham, TX)
