The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, West Hardin was routed by Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 50-14, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Texans battle the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, November 15. Sam Rayburn will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 48-23 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, TX).
