The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes basketball team scored 32 points and limited the visiting St. David's Warriors to 27 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hurricanes now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Cary Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16.
With the loss, St. David's falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chatham HomeSchool (Pittsboro, NC) to confront the Thunder in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 0-0.
