Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) followers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team top the visiting Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR), 3-1 in a non-league contest.

The Monarchs (21-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR). The Buckaroos enter the non-league contest with a 24-7 record. In their last contest, St. Paul was beaten by Crane (Crane, OR), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Badgers meet the North Lake Cowboys (Silver Lake, OR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 9. Powder Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 25-8 season record. The Cowboys enter the contest with a 17-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over North Douglas (Drain, OR).
