St. John XXIII Lions (Katy, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Regents Knights (Austin, TX), 66-47 in a non-league match.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX). The Pioneers go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Knights confront the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 11. Regents will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 67-62 non-league win over St. Augustine (Laredo, TX).
