The Plainfield Panthers edged the host Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial football team by a score of 27-24 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut III outing, on Friday, November 14. Plainfield will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Wolves come into the outing with a 0-7 record after their 35-8 league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT).

With the defeat, Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The travel to Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley (Woodbury, CT) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league outing on Friday, November 14. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 7-0.
