The Midland Rebels basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Singer Hornets to 62 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starks for a non-league contest on Friday, November 12. Midland will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hornbeck ran past Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
