The Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR), 64-62 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Sloan-Hendrix got by White County Central (Judsonia, AR), 65-45, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Maynard for a 1A Region 3 test on Friday, November 10. Mammoth Spring will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 50-34 league win over Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
