Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ouachita Warriors (Donaldson, AR), 62-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cutter-Morning Star upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Friday, November 10. The Cobras come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Fountain Lake won 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR)

Next up, the Warriors play the Bearden Bears (Bearden, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 13. Ouachita will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
