    The Silliman Institute Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 54 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilkinson County Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, November 13.

    The Crusaders (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Discovery Christian (Florence, MS). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Discovery Christian was nudged by Woodlawn Prep (Columbia, MS), 50-35, in a non-league contest.
