Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gospel Light Christian Lions (Hot Springs, AR), 54-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kirby upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Badgers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Cornerstone Christian Warriors (Tillar, AR) in a Heartland Christian bout, on Monday, November 13. Gospel Light Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 43-23 non-league loss to Christian Ministries Academy (Hot Springs, AR).
