West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 40-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Oso upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Economedes (Edinburg, TX) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Economedes lost 52-27 in their recent non-league bout against Donna (Donna, TX)

Next up, the Unicorns clash with the Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. New Braunfels will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 57-22 non-league loss to West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX).
