In Saturday's non-league contest, the host San Angelo Central Bobcats basketball team scored a close 64-59 win over the Brewer Bears.

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Del Rio was tipped by Abilene (Abilene, TX), 76-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the South Oak Cliff Bears (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 16. Brewer will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
