North Carolina High School Basketball - The Burlington School holds off Carmel Christian

November 9, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105

The The Burlington School Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Carmel Christian Cougars to 59 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Fayetteville Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. The Burlington School will confront a Eagles team coming off a 72-49 non-league win over New Life Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Carmel Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Kings in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. The Kings go into the game with a record of 1-1. Victory Christian Center lost 57-46 in their recent non-league game against Concord Academy (Concord, NC)
