North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant can't get by Gaston Christian

The Queen's Grant Stallions basketball squad (Matthews, NC), was nudged 58-56 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC)

With the victory, Gaston Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 12. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 1-1. Davidson Day won 80-76 in their recent non-league battle against The Burlington School (Burlington, NC)

The Stallions now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, November 13.
