In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Heritage Patriots basketball team scored a close 62-56 win over the Parkview Panthers.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Douglas County edged Hardaway (Columbus, GA), 65-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 12. Parkview will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Storm come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 68-50 non-league win over Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA).
