In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Marcus Marauders basketball team scored a good 60-45 win over the Walnut Grove Wildcats.

The Marauders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Prosper defeated Paschal (Fort Worth, TX), 59-43, in a non-league contest.
