Texas High School Basketball - Nixon sneaks past Eagle Pass

The Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) basketball edged the visiting Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX), 48-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Laredo LBJ for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 12. Nixon will play a Wolves team coming off a 49-31 non-league loss to Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Eagle Pass falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Cornerstone Christian won 77-70 in their recent non-league bout against Savio (Austin, TX)
