Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mount Airy advances its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Granite Bears travel to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 12. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 16-3. Carver won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Alleghany (Sparta, NC)

The Maroon Devils now have a 10-8 record.
