The AGWSR Cougars basketball team (Ackley, IA), was nudged 53-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA)
The Huskies now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Tuesday, December 6. Oelwein will battle a Knights team coming off a 79-66 non-league win over East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels come into the North Iowa Cedar - West battle with a 2-0 record.
