Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX), 59-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carroll upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Rockport-Fulton won 77-65 in their recent non-league bout against Sharyland (Mission, TX)

Next up, the Spartans play the Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. St. Stephen's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Lake Belton (Temple, TX).
