The Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA), 58-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bruins (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Oak Harbor notched a victory over LaConner (LaConner, WA), 73-44, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, December 6. Ferndale will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 77-61 non-league win over Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
