The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers (Chambersburg, PA), 54-51 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Orioles (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Covenant Life (Gaithersburg, MD). The Cougars go into the Maryland Independent test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Covenant Life got by Frederick Warriors (Frederick, MD), 67-41, in a non-league test.
The Blazers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Faith Christian Academy for a Mason-Dixon Christian test on Tuesday, December 6.
