Arkansas High School Basketball - Drew Central can't hold off Star City

The Star City Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Drew Central Pirates to 50 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russellville for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 4. Star City will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-1.

The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville Lighthouse (Jacksonville, AR). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville Lighthouse was nudged by St. Joseph (Conway, AR), 37-30, in a league contest.
