The Fletcher Academy Falcons basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Varsity Opponent to 26 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host LifeSpring Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The (58-240) will now prepare for their contest against Pipestem Christian Academy (Pipestem, WV). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Pipestem Christian Academy ran past Granite Christian Academy (Wytheville, VA), 67-15, in a non-league contest.
