Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ), 66-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gilbert Classical Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-6. St. John Paul II Catholic lost 63-25 in their recent non-league bout against Chandler Prep (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Dust Devils clash with the San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Santa Cruz Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 79-61 non-league win over Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ).
