Louisiana High School Basketball - Goose Creek Memorial edges LaGrange

The Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) basketball nipped the host LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA), 54-47 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Patriots (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Summer Creek (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Summer Creek got by Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX), 67-40, in a non-league test.

The Gators now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Brook for a non-league test on Thursday, December 1. LaGrange will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 75-57 non-league win over Silsbee (Silsbee, TX). The Bruins record now stands at 3-1.
