With the win, Hardin upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Shepherd (Shepherd, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Shepherd won 65-32 in their recent non-league bout against Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Apple Springs Eagles (Apple Springs, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Spurger will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 62-34 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, TX).
