The Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Hershey Panthers to 42 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Plainsmen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgeport for a D1 District 12 contest on Friday, December 2.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Swedes enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Gothenburg triumphed over Lexington (Lexington, NE), 58-43, in a non-league contest.
