Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), saw Lumpkin County's basketball squad overcome Lakeview Academy by a tally of 83-73.

With the victory, Lumpkin County improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to confront the Wolves in a AAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Wesleyan lost 53-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Northview (Johns Creek, GA)

Next up, the Lions confront the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Lakeview Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 64-49 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
