Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), 70-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Legacy Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Silverbacks travel to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM) to confront the Steers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Steers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Magdalena won 57-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Navajo Pine will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 92-22 non-league loss to Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).
