California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton over Monterey

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) and the visiting Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA), saw Menlo-Atherton's basketball squad overcome Monterey by a tally of 75-60.

With the victory, Menlo-Atherton improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Pioneer (San Jose, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Pioneer won 59-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Soquel (Soquel, CA)

Next up, the Dores play the Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Monterey will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 62-23 non-league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA).
