North Carolina High School Basketball - Middle Creek succumbs to Sanderson

December 1, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27609

The Sanderson Spartans topped the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 61-44 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 2. Sanderson will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 55-47 non-league loss to East Wake (Wendell, NC).

With the defeat, Middle Creek moves to 0-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC) to face the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, December 2. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 2-2. Athens Drive lost 52-44 in their recent non-league game against Green Hope (Cary, NC)
