Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) and the visiting Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS), saw Nettleton's basketball squad knock off Walnut by a count of 80-61.

With the victory, Nettleton upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 64-42 league loss to Biggersville (Corinth, MS).
