    The Newman Smith Trojans basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting North Dallas Bulldogs to 41 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Trojans now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ryan for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Newman Smith will battle a Raiders team coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Pinkston (Dallas, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 3-6.

    The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ranchview (Irving, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Ranchview was routed by Nimitz (Irving, TX), 44-36, in a non-league contest.
