Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Orrick Bearcats (Orrick, MO) and the host Southwest Wildcats (Ludlow, MO), saw Orrick's basketball squad knock off Southwest by a tally of 58-43.

With the victory, Orrick improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Santa Fe (Alma, MO) to play the Chiefs in a I-70 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hardin-Central Bulldogs (Hardin, MO) in a CLAA challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 69-50 non-league win over Tri-County (Jamesport, MO).
