Othello Huskies (Othello, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA), 78-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Othello upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Wapato (Wapato, WA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Panthers play the North Creek Jaguars (Bothell, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Wenatchee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 81-67 non-league win over Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA).
